From early September 2014, in a hotel room in Clarksville, TN (don’t ask.) We originally chose a different version of this photo, and gave it a really poor color edit, so it was nice to revisit the scenario again. The image is based on a piece created by dear Beth Jorgensen, whom you should all get to know, if you haven’t already.
Bound in Tennessee
- Polka Dots
- Frosted
The setting is wonderfully retro – and the Kodachrome coloring perfectly enhances the effect. That chair is blatantly “hotel utilitarian.” Best use of bad furniture ever!
Very happy to hear from you! We are usually more prompt in replying to comments, but our weekend getaway spot didn’t have WiFi. It was quite alarming! Anyway, we had to steal that chair from the hotel’s conference room and sneak it up the back stairwell. Anything for a photo, though! 🙂
Oh to be Tennessee-bound and find Camille thus in my hotel room! Gorgeous x
What a remarkable discovery that would be! 😉
