During last year’s pre-Thanksgiving getaway to the coast, we played with the idea of shooting ourselves from above, to see if we could simulate a true voyeur’s perspective on the action. (See the results here and here.)
As luck would have it, our destination for this year’s November trip also had a landing on the second level that overlooked the main. This was a bit more difficult to capture, as we had to fashion a stand for our tripod in order to position it over a high rail, but we are definitely happy with what we were able to create! We’ll post a couple more of these before the cabin photos are done.
A nice sweet end to an obviously delicious meal… love the way Camille’s hair speaks of movement, borne of ecstasy. 😉
Thank you, lovely! I’m glad my hair gives that impression, rather than “swiftly swept in front of face, to hide identity.” 😉 ~C
Love the views!
Thanks very much! It’s just like being spied on. 😉
I wish my restaurant had you on the menu, Camille–fine dining indeed! This is such a delicious image in so many ways 🙂 x
Thanks very much! We’re so glad it turned out well. ~C
Perhaps challenging to set the photo up, but the beautiful result speaks for itself! I am continually impressed at your abilities to frame, pose, and shoot! Thanks for keeping up the good work!!
Thanks very much! This was a particularly high degree of difficulty, but once we get an idea, we rarely stop until it’s executed (for better or worse.) 😉
Spied on you say?
Sadly, we were unable to find some voyeurs to occupy that upstairs bedroom. But our online voyeurs are great, too!
