As advantageous as our odd streak of balmy temperatures was for one post, it played hell with the plan for this one. I was meant to be hanging stockings on the hearth in front of a roaring fire, rather than pressing into service every available candle on this particular level of our house. Even so, we managed to capture the general idea we were attempting to convey, and the retro filter Holden applied to these photos is perfect, I think. ~C

Haha, balmy on our side of the pond too but no one seems to be taking advantage of it to take their clothes off! Weird 😉 If I were Holden I would be very satisfied with what is in his Christmas stocking 🙂 x

When I look at the last published pictures, my only comment is that decoration really has a striking effect when put on something (read someone) that (who) doesn’t need any!
