We shot these photos as a sort of vanity piece, to show off the spiffy (experimental) eyelash extensions I recently acquired. Upon closer examination, however, all I can see is the ongoing results of “embracing my grey.” I decided to stop coloring my hair, so I now have a three-way battle going on up there: The chestnut brown remnants of the last dye-job, the much darker shade of brown that is my natural color, and streaks of silver-grey. Holden says he loves the grey (God knows he has enough of his own!), and I’m happy to have stopped damaging it with harsh chemicals.
