I am truly envious of Holden’s ability to maintain — for lack of a better term — a professional approach during our photo shoots. Don’t get me wrong, he smiles a lot and praises me when shooting me by myself, and blurts out a “Fucking hot!” from time to time. But he’s never become so distracted that he failed to keep focus on the task at hand.
By contrast, the tag for his solo photos takes you to a pretty limited collection. I look through the lens and see sights like the one above, and I lose all sense of context. To me, this action is an invitation: It’s the thing he does while waiting for me to climb on top of him. I clicked some photos on this particular afternoon, but then happily handed the photography job over to the tripod. ~C
