What a fun and full weekend this has been! The only thing that could have improved it is to have had the time to squeeze in a fresh photo session. Unfortunately, we were unable, and so we will be tapping the archives for some 2015 outtakes for the next couple of weeks. (I’ll be away yet again next weekend…)
These two were taken on a frigid night at the end of last February. We had been out for a late dinner that evening, and so we didn’t light a fire when we got home. We had to be content with the warmth of a dozen or so candles, instead. The originally posted version of the top photo was one of the most popular photos we ever posted to Instagram, interestingly enough.
