An unexpected traffic jam was not, in fact, the real reason that we arrived late to your event. We simply experienced a delay during the showering-dressing-leaving sequence and were forced to re-start the process after a spontaneous quickie. Wow…We feel so much better having admitted that!
There is never anything wrong with that plan.
We are always on time or early, so we figure we’re allowed to be late from time to time. 😉
