Dirt Road Reshoot #2

1003

Okay, this is the last of the lake house remakes, I promise. The rest of the ones we are posting over the next few days will be original ideas. For the photo above, I’m standing in the same spot as the one below, from July of 2013, but facing north this time instead of south. I prefer the pose in the older photo, I think, but the new one is better in every other way. Y’all can decide for yourselves, of course. ~C

  1. I can’t speak for everyone else, but I’m loving the remakes. Holden did very well framing the pictures and you look fabulous, Camille!

    1. Thank you, Hunter! The framing was actually the most interesting part, as we tried to even out the perspective and show the road disappearing into the distance. 🙂 ~C

    1. Glad you liked them! I’m definitely more relaxed in the new one — I hadn’t done much outdoor posing, when we took the original photo, and I was really nervous about someone coming down that road! ~C

  2. I love both of these, the older because it feels just captured and unposed and somehow mysterious, the newer because the composition with the road is really beautiful–and of course you look splendid in both 🙂 x

p.s. The house is much small er than I imagined 😉

    1. lol, see? This is why it gets so crowded when all of the family comes to the lake for the same weekend! 😉 Very happy that you like the photos! ~C
