Jewels

As I mentioned inย a reply in the comments section, the mirror that was featured in a recent pair of photos is actually the door of a standing jewelry cabinet that dear Holden bought me for Christmas. I’ve wanted one for a long time, and his choice was perfect — Lots of space for different kinds of accessories, and it even has a row of blue LED lights at the top of the base piece to help illuminate the choices. I encouraged him to come up with a good way to showย it off in some photos, and these are two of his ideas.

Hope you all have had a lovely weekend! ~C

Thanks so much! Though I believe you’ll find that tonight’s photo is exactly the opposite of “elegant”… ๐Ÿ˜‰ ~C

Very impressed that you were able to come to that conclusion without even having to use one of those jeweler’s glasses! ๐Ÿ˜‰ ~C

I remember buying my wife an Indian carved jewelry box many years ago, not anywhere near as nice, but solid and square. My arms still ache from bringing back on the train from Manchester x

It’s a lovely gift for a mature woman with a collection! Mine came from Amazon, so there was little carrying involved, though Holden did have to gift wrap a very large box. ๐Ÿ˜‰ ~C
