This cute little tulle mini skirt was included with a 1980s costume package that I ordered last year for my 30th high school reunion party. I really only wanted the tacky neon jewelry and finger-less gloves that were included in the package, and I’d already bought another skirt at a thrift store that I liked better, and so I didn’t end up wearing this one. Much to Holden’s dismay, however, because he really loved the look of it. Ever since last fall, he has been reminding me of the skirt whenever we prepared for a new photo shoot. I finally remembered to pack it when we went to the hotel, and then doubled down on the whimsy by pairing it with the striped socks. Hope it wasn’t overkill! ~C

Loving that top photo…..well love them both lol. But that top one is awesome.
Thank you very much! We shot four different poses for this one, but couldn’t decide between these two. π ~C
Love this shot! Both of them!!
Very kind of you! We may have to circle back and post the other two! π ~C
So playful and cute! Makes me think of Alice in Wonderland for some reason.
Yes! THAT is the book I should have been holding in these photos! Where were you when we were packing for our hotel stay? π ~C
I love these photos! That tutu is too-too gorgeous and the stockings with it give you the look of a debauched Alice in Wonderland π An absolute delight π xx
LOL at the fact that Kerri had the same comment about Alice in Wonderland a mere 29 minutes before you did! You’re both right, of course. π ~C
p.s. I like Anne Tyler but don’t know that one–good? x
Saint Maybe is her best novel about family dynamics and responsibilities, and how they change over time. After our family’s losses a few months ago, I decided it was a good time for a re-read. ~C
Awesome. So full of fun. π
It’s good to hear from you! And thank you very much! ~C
