Happy Friday, everyone! Woo-hoo! I’m really excited about our scheduled trip to the local nursery tomorrow, to buy some new plants for our outdoor pots. It never feels quite like spring until I have some little flowers to care for.
This evening’s photo is yet another outtake with a radical editorial departure from the 2017 publication. First of all, I like this pose better, especially our legs and feet. I’m always on tiptoe when I embrace him this way, and it almost looks like he’s lifting me off the ground by my bottom. (Though the leg kick in the original photo has become something of a meme unto itself.) There’s a different light source in this one, as well, which brings out the pattern on the stockings, unlike the first one which was more dark and moody.
