Hi, everyone! I wanted to post a shot of me alone in bed for this week’s October ’18 outtake because, well, I’ve been alone in bed for the past week, with another week of sleepin’ solo to come. Since things are so slow at my office for the summer, I’d planned to visit my mother for a few days to help her with a medical situation. For reasons I won’t go into, the situation has spiraled, and I’ll be occupying her guest room for twice as long as I’d thought. If you listen closely, I’ll bet you can hear my heavy sigh. Or maybe Holden’s? Anyway, you should probably call or text your parent(s) if you still can. Folks get fragile fast with age. ~C
