Good evening, folks! Had I fully appreciated, during our August 18 photo session, how busy and tiring every single weekend thereafter would turn out to be, I’m sure I would’ve lingered a little longer over settings like this one. I mean, we knew what projects we had on the agenda and never downplayed them, but still. Stripping wallpaper, painting, installing fixtures… They all hit a little harder, the older you get. So I’ll be looking to balance my weekends a bit better, leaving a little more time to curl up in a cozy chair with a good book. (Big thanks to Holden for introducing me to the works of Anne Tyler.)
Looks like we’re only about halfway through the shots that are worthy of posting from last month’s shoot, so we won’t have to try to squeeze in another one for a while. But I’ve already caught Holden eyeing the remodeled master bath, looking for interesting angles, so I’m sure he’s already working on ideas. Take care, y’all, and get some rest! ~C
Great photos and setting.
Thanks for the book recommendation. I will definitely check it out.
Thank you very much! I was surprised by how many of her books have been adapted into movies. 🙂 ~C
