Hi, folks! Just a couple more posts from the August session — this one and next week’s — before moving onto some fresh photography. These two are from the same setting as our September 7 post, the “seduction shots” as I called them, and dear Holden thought the poses were too flattering not to share. And I really like his black and white edit, as well, since my mask and the cordless wand were really the only two brightly colorful elements in the shot.
As for the kitchen, it’s 90% complete! Backsplash tile will go in on Tuesday, ahead of the final walk-through with the foreman. He’ll have some decisions to make about a couple of… let’s call ’em “irregularities,” but all of the cabinets, drawers, and appliances are installed and now in use. We spent about two hours yesterday evening moving kitchenware from their temporary spots in other rooms, and deciding which new locations would make the most sense for them. It was a fun chore! ~C

And good luck with the final 10% … Oh, and you can’t beat a good “backsplash” !!!
