Just a single photo this weekend, folks, because we didn’t shoot any alternative poses of this one. In the caption for the first post in this lovely series with Diana, I mentioned that Holden’s shot list contained a professional photo he’d had in his want-to-shoot image folder for a long time. This is it. Unfortunately, two reverse-image searches failed to turn up the name of the original photographer, so we won’t post his or her inspirational image here, without credit. But if you’ve seen it, hopefully you’ll agree that we did a good job of re-creating it. (It was open on Holden’s laptop, on the bed in front of Diana, for our reference.) H was even able to come close to the edit of the original shot — It was posted with the color so muted that it was nearly black and white, which works out really well here with our respective skin tones and some fortunate lighting. We’re quite proud of it!
We have a few hectic days ahead of us, so it might take us a while to reply to comments. We won’t risk jinxing the plans by spilling them here just yet, but we hope to have big news for you next time! Whee! ~C
