Happy weekend, ladies and gentlemen! I’ll be traveling next week — my first visit back to Georgia for 2026. It’s for work, of course, though there will be some pleasure mixed in, too. One of my co-workers is getting married soon, and we’re throwing her a surprise bridal shower on Thursday. I’m very much looking forward to seeing everyone, if only for a few days. Though sometimes quick trips are the best trips. I am also trying out a new strategy, in hopes that my little airport > big airport > even bigger airport transition will go more smoothly. And the reverse journey, too.
Holden and I decided to break out the “unbuttoned green jammies with coffee in the kitchen” theme again, for the first time since February of last year. The previous post was meant to incorporate both the new red wig and the kitchen renovations, and we received some kind comments about it, so maybe we’ll catch lightning in a bottle again with these. The black-and-white one is nice, I think, but I’m partial to the color version. My theory was that the green would pop just as well as red does, against our sort of monochrome decor here. But we’ll see what public opinion says… ~C
