0203-hc-colorWe would love to hear your thoughts on the color version versus the black-and-white one, as we simply couldn’t decide and posted both. (For the record, the gentle filter we applied is the same for both photos.)

  1. I prefer the color version of this shot – I want to reach out and touch Camille’s warmth.

    1. Thank you, darling! I certainly WISH I had been warm! And I definitely could have used some touching… ~C

  2. They are both stunning but definitely the color! It has so much depth and emotion! This could be displayed as art! Love it!

    1. So sweet of you, thanks very much! I worry about how color photos look in the winter, when I have ZERO tan at all. πŸ˜‰ ~C

    1. I love it, too! A student brought it back from China for me, and I use it as an accent piece for otherwise color-less outfits. (This is the first time I’ve worn ONLY the scarf.)

  3. Although I typically do not care for black and white as much as color, I think I like the black and white version. If Camille is the subject, I’d love it even if it was drawn in crayon.

    1. You are SUCH a sweetheart, Kerri! We are fond of both, but since we posted nothing but black-and-white during our “early period,” we are always on the lookout for photos that work better without color. (Tomorrow night’s post, for example.)

    1. Thanks very much for the input! We are happy to have options, and to have readers who are predisposed to appreciate different styles πŸ™‚

  4. Usually I prefer BW, but this time I liked the coloured one best πŸ™‚ Let’s cuddle up πŸ˜‰

  5. The orange of the scarf is so lovely and sets off Camille’s skin so wonderfully that I have to vote for the colour too πŸ™‚ x

    1. Thank you! I do love that scarf. πŸ˜‰ I have a few more, so I should probably try to find some inventive ways to use them! ~C

    1. Thanks very much! So if you’re scoring at home (or even if you’re by yourself), the colo(u)r version is the landslide winner πŸ™‚
