Something that always bothered me about Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope happens during the lead-up to the Battle of Yavin. The Red Squadron leader gets on his radio and commands all wings to report in. But when they do, their call-signs are in random order. We hear from Ten, then Seven, then Three, etc, which would seem to make it difficult to keep up with who he’s heard from and who he hasn’t. (We never hear from Red Four or Red Eight, even though we see them in formation.)
Are they roll-calling in the order of the flight roster, with senior pilots at the top of the list? (Luke reports last.) It is because of their lack of cohesion as a military unit, since the Rebellion was rag-tag bunch at this point? Are they calling in order of their position in the attack formation (left to right, row by row)? Just bad movie editing? I guess I’ll never know.
But since this is the fourth of the Hauty outfits, and the color is fantastic, I’ll sign in on behalf of Red Four. ~C

yes you would! But it may depend on who you root for in football (college and NFL). Kelly has always tolerated my Star Wars interest, but she loves college football almost as much as I do. Much like Holden, I’m one lucky dog.
