Summer Shopping

Unlike a lot of women I know, I don’t feel the urge for “retail therapy” very often. I prefer to avoid the crowds and hustle by ordering online, whenever possible, or by making a quick visit to one of my favorite specialty shops. Mother’s Day Sunday was an exception, however, and Holden graciously agreed to go to the mall with me. When I found a store with ridiculously discounted clearance swimwear, I dove right in, so to speak. The tops and bottoms were unmatched on their hangers, which complicated the search, but my eager assistant was a huge help. You don’t think his enthusiasm had anything to do with the prospect of taking photos of me in my new suit(s), do you? ~C

  1. Wow.

You look great in the suit.

My guess is your assistant was extremely happy to help.

    1. Right! I’d have invited him into the changing room with me, had there not been such a crowd in the store. 😉 ~C

    1. Very kind of you! It is certainly flattering, and I will admit to sporting a long-lasting smile in the changing room mirror. 😉 ~C
