Good evening, everyone! I was all set to recount for you our misadventures with getting the tea light candles in this pretty little birdcage candelabra ignited, but then I looked back and realized that I’d already done it with the first-choice photo back in September of 2018. Guess my memory isn’t what it used to be! In any event, the original was dark and gothic and mysterious, so I rather like this more generous crop and color treatment. It’s warmer and more inviting, I think, but still has some interesting details hiding in the darkness and revealed by the glow. It looks like we’ll just have one more outtake from Lexington for next week… or maybe two more. My decision-making has gone the way of my memory, I think! ~C
