In August of 2014, my 45th birthday fell on a Wednesday, so Holden and I took a couple of days off to get away and enjoy the lake house by ourselves. We were flush with photography ideas and packed for the trip accordingly, and two of the resulting photos remain on Holden’s all-time favorites list to this day. We also published the first-choice version of this shot in the weeks that followed the trip, but we wanted to revisit an outtake with a closer crop and a color edit, to show off the lovely sunset. This was my first time being fully nude in public waters, so it was a particularly exciting memory for me! Take care, everyone! ~C
