Evening, everyone! Like last week, these shots are also callbacks to a prior idea. We gave a rare glimpse of our old abomination of a kitchen for this image, and we used the same concept in other places we’ve shot (Airbnbs, the lake house) as well. Here in our new house, we only have two gripes about the kitchen: there are no knobs or handles on the drawers and doors, and the dark countertop isn’t terribly appealing. Had we not spent so much time carefully selecting handles and quartz during our kitchen remodel in Georgia, of course, we might not have cared so much about these details. But we did, and so we have a working list of things we’ll change here in Texas. Eventually. I mean shit, it took a listing deadline in Georgia to get us off our butts there!
Wishing a happy Easter to all who celebrate! We’ll be assembling gift baskets for the little ones this evening… ~C

Looks good and I assume a glass of wine is there somewhere.
Happy Easter to y’all
Happy Easter! Funny you should mention a glass of wine, considering next week’s photo pairing… 😉 ~C
