We are enduring the fifth or sixth consecutive day of unseasonably cool temperatures and near incessant rainfall in our part of the world and, not surprisingly, we are staying indoors with tasty home-cooked meals and our favorite adult beverages. We hope those of you on the east coast of the U.S. remain safe from the flooding and damage resulting from the passing Atlantic hurricane.
