The final photo taken on the night of February 28, 2015 was a candid shot. I was cold, with my heart rate returning to normal and no longer having the warmth of his body on top of me, but I hadn’t decided what to wear to bed. As he extinguished the candles and folded up the tripod, Holden caught me looking at myself in the mirror — trying out poses and alternately smiling at my belly ring and frowning at stretch marks. He snapped this one before I even realized he was kneeling nearby with the camera in hand. ~C
