Ribbon Cutting

Holden stumbled across this image recently, while searching for photo ideas, and so we saved it to our desktop folder for the right opportunity. This Christmas ribbon is one of my favorite tree decorations (and I have also enjoyed using it for photos before), so I put myself through the learning curve to try to copy the formation in the source photo. I think I did pretty well, and I do hope you’ll overlook the awkwardness of the pose — The ribbon has thin metal borders to keep its shape, which combined with the gold beads to make quite an uncomfortable g-string! ~C

Thank you! The ribbon arrangement makes for a nice frame, so I wanted to make a worthy picture for it. 😉 ~C

Yes, this seems to be the modern day application of “it’s the thought that counts”! ~C
