Regimen

From the earliest days of this blog, I have occasionally made light of my aversion to strenuous exercise. But nagging aches and pains — along with growing awareness of the toll that age is beginning to take on my body — caused me to ask Holden’s assistance with designing some routines for me. I’m proud to say that I have stuck with them through the first month of 2017, though in honesty the repetitions are brief, targeted, and not all that taxing. Except for “arm day,” which I have grown to loathe. (For the record, I don’t do the push-up sets in the nude, nor on the bed, as seen above.) ~C

    Congrats on sticking with the routine! You’re definitely on the right track with the short simple exercises (Holden knows what he’s doing). You’re more likely to stick with them, as you’ve proven thus far. They may be brief, but cumulatively they’ll add up over time. Can already see a little more tone in your arms. Looking good!

      Thank you! I agree that Holden was wise with his choices — and having him do some of the same exercises along with me has improved my motivation. I’m already noticing some improvements, too, and I like what I see! ~C

    Very lovely picture! Your figure looks so fantastic, Camille. It’s great Holden has helped with a routine you’re happy with; it’s so much easier to stick with it that way. But I’ll have to admit, if your were doing naked push-ups, I’d for sure be at the gym a lot more often.
