A couple of experiments in soft tones and textures, for tonight’s pairing. And another interesting note: Eight of Holden’s ten favorites of me were taken in locations other than our house. His choice, at top, is from Back to Bed (September 3, 2015), in a hotel room in Chattanooga, TN where we stayed for a weekend away to celebrate my birthday. The filtered light was a great idea, and it allowed us to fiddle with some edits to get exactly the look we wanted. My selection is from Friday Fetishism (January 29, 2016), a beautiful capture of some up-close details. This photo was posted the first time in the fall of 2014, but the do-over of the crop and edit in the later post is so much better. It’s a prime example for why we revisit our archives and take a second look at raw images, from time to time. ~C
