Radical

Holden and I got a heavy dose of nostalgia a few weeks ago, when that video tribute to 1980s teen movies was making the rounds on social media (see link below.) We ended up killing nearly an entire weekend re-watching some of our favorites. So it’s no surprise that retro fashion was still in the back of our minds when we were compiling wardrobe and accessory ideas for the April 8th shoot. I believe we have only published one post with these finger-less gloves that I bought for my high school reunion last autumn, but it was totally awesome!

Hot pic! Oh, and thanks for that link that kickstarted a 3 1/2 hour ‘youtube’ rabbit hole I just climbed out of. I went from watching that video to watching multiple 80’s cast reunion interviews (The Breakfast Club, The Facts of Life, etc), to a Willy Wonka reunion, Oprah network interview clips and ended on Ellen interviewing Dame Helen Mirren (huge crush on that woman)…ugghh…youtube, smh πŸ˜‰

Oh, we understand completely! The right-hand column of related videos on YouTube is where “productive time” goes to die! πŸ˜‰ ~C

I was worried about the glass, too, so I had to stand a step or two away from the window. πŸ˜‰ Glad you liked it! ~C

The black and white was a necessity in this one, I’m afraid, because something was off about the color. But I’ll take it! πŸ˜‰

“Dinner things never change” reminded us that we need to introduce some variety into our weekly meal selections! πŸ˜‰

Funnily enough, despite being a movie-buff, my first thought when I saw this gorgeous image was of an operatic soprano practicing hitting that REALLY high note πŸ˜‰ x
