On Narragansett Avenue

Happy Friday, y’all!

Holden and I will be celebrating our twelfth wedding anniversary on Sunday, so there is no better photo folder for us to tap for outtakes and overlooked beauties than the one from the west coast trip for our tenth, in May of 2016. These two were taken in the evening of our first full day in San Diego, which we spent walking along the shore and wandering through Old Town. Pardon, if you can, the tan line on my neck and chest. The SoCal sunshine left its mark on both of us that day! My Jack and ginger was delightful, and it was a pleasure to soak my aching feet before bedtime.

Have a lovely weekend! ~C

Happy Anniversary to you two. Congratulations!

Hope you have many, many more.

Tan lines, I have looked and do not see any tan lines.

Your Jack and ginger looks like it could be freshen up.

Thanks, Marc! If memory serves, Holden put away his camera shortly after these, and refreshed my beverage at least once while I pruned up in that tub. πŸ˜‰ ~C

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!! Hope you have a great (choose one or two) sexy/relaxing/exciting/fun filled weekend.
Up here it is the Victoria Day Long Weekend the official start to summer in Canada. Queen Victoria’s birth date is actually May 24th so we call it “The May 2-4” for her actual birth day & the fact that beer is sold in cases of 24. That’s your Canadian history lesson for the weekend.
    A lovely pair of pictures.

Thank you very much, both for the kind words and the lesson! The U.S. and Canada really need to think about synching up their 3-day holiday weekends. You know, to encourage cross-border shenanigans between our citizens. πŸ˜‰ We’ll have a summer kick-off three day weekend of our own, next week for Memorial Day. And we are shocked — shocked! — to hear that a Canadian colloquial reference to a holiday would contain a reference to beer! ~C

Maybe instead of synching the May holiday weekends we just celebrate both. That way we each get 2 long weekends in the month!
And yes we Canadians can be shocking every now & then.

I like that idea! Two four-day work weeks in a row? It would be just like Christmas & New Year’s! πŸ™‚ ~C

Thank you, Steve! We’ll enjoy our plans tomorrow and then set sights on early June adventure. Memorial Day weekend is for family. πŸ™‚ ~C
