Hysteria

One of the perks of having a son with music industry connections is access to some really sweet seats at concerts. Inside of my Mother’s Day card was a ticket to the Def Leppard and Journey concert, which was still several weeks away at the time. My son and I had a wonderful time at the show, though he didn’t quite appreciate it as much as my fellow 40- and 50-something seat neighbors, shaking our bottoms to tunes from some of the heroes of our teen years.

Hope y’all have had a lovely weekend! I made another trip out of town last Friday, but I’m home again and relaxing with my man, so everything is right with the world. ~C

Can’t put my finger on what I really like about this pic…but it’s a nice one. Maybe it’s just the simplicity of it…from the pose to the wardrobe. Cute!

Thank you very much! When the shoes we’re featuring are high heels, the pose ideas come pretty easily. Not so with sneakers, however… 😉 ~C

Thank you! Definitely a more relaxed and easier pose than some of mine…though I kept trying to pull my shirt-tail down a little farther! 😉 ~C

How fun!! I love Journey. They were o the top bands to make out to on long bus trips in high school 😂

Hell yeah, they were! They should have gone ahead and called a song “Getting to Third Base.” 🙂 ~C

I’m glad you won’t begrudge me a bit of nostalgia. 😉 The older I get, the worse the modern radio hits sound to me. I’m guessing that will continue! ~C

Cute and clever photo, C. You are right, no way to truly appreciate unless you were there at the start. Going to a Steely Dan concert, all those old folks my age, we’re still dancing.

Oooo, Steely Dan! Now that’s another show I’d like to see! And I’m tickled about the shoes, too. 😉 ~C
