Happy weekend, friends! I was so happy to see that the next archive folder to dig through* was from a weekend at the lake house in mid-September of 2016. Reminiscing about being outdoors in warm weather is just what I needed, as I’m already done with the cold weather. I did get to enjoy a bit of snow last weekend, however… in freakin’ TEXAS. It was a pleasure to share my grandson’s first snowfall with him, but still.

*Technically not true, as the next collection in chronological order was from Labor Day weekend of ’16, wherein lies the tale of shenanigans with Audrey and Dutch. But we already skipped the queue and revisited that folder early last year.
