My natural hair is thin, straight as an arrow and, currently, about 33% gray. Longtime readers know that from time to time, for special photo occasions, I’ll curl it to get a little extra bounce and a different look in the pictures. Several years ago, Holden and I toyed with the idea of getting me a wig for our sessions. I was thinking something long, luxurious, and red. Like Jessica Rabbit! But then came the summer of 2019 when we decided to retire from our photography hobby, and the subject never came up again.
Until Christmas, that is. As I was opening one of his gifts, Holden was already downplaying: “We can send them back if you don’t like them.” But I was delighted to find not one but two beautiful blonde wigs! This one, which is mostly straight and solid-colored, except for a darker shade peeking through near the roots on top, will feature in our next few posts. I’m saving the second one, which is wavy and thick, with steaks of copper, for our big session at the end of the month. I had as much fun toying with my new look as Holden did shooting it, so I hope our enthusiasm comes through in the results! ~C

i enjoy blonde hair maybe because my Mom had blonde hait. Fortunately , my Mistress Kate has blonde and so does Sir.
