These photos were actually the final two unpublished shots from our brief session on November 2, but we delayed them in favor of the three Christmas posts. Since they’re a little detached, temporally, it was an amusing coincidence for us that they were taken in the doorway of the guest bedroom — The same guest bedroom where we focused the majority of our attention when we pulled out the camera again two weeks ago. We’ll kick off that series next week, for our first posts of 2026.
Wow… just typing the name of the upcoming year made me sit back and reflect for a minute. 2025 was a huge year for us, with more transition and evolution than any period since our marriage, nearly 20 years ago. I can’t exactly recall how we spent last New Year’s Eve (likely curled up on the sofa together at home), but I’m sure we were looking forward with great anticipation of the changes that 2025 would bring. And now here we are, in a new home in a new state (though still curled up on the sofa together), enjoying the results we worked so hard to attain.
