Happy weekend, everyone! It’s photo session day, and we’ll be getting started shortly after this post is published. Holden has a pretty interesting mix of images on his wish list, with a couple of high-concept ideas that’ll probably take a bit of time and effort to set up, but we’re looking forward to the challenge! (Fortunately he has some easy ones, too, that will only require me to be comfortable and still. My favorite kind.)
And since we just finished a series from our 20th anniversary trip to the gulf, I figured we should take a look back at our 10th anniversary visit to the west coast for a couple of outtakes. I love the color and soft tones for the top photo, taken on our second night in San Diego. The bottom one is a tighter crop than the previously published image, with a black-and-white edit this time, taken at our little rental condo in Seattle. I’m beginning to think a return trip to the Pacific is in order… ~C
