And the winner for Best Improvised Use of the Features of the Airbnb goes to… These two photos!
The floor plan of the space was basically a long narrow rectangle, with very few walls to break it up. So the owner had made clever use of some furnishings to separate the openness into distinct areas. A row of bookcases (seen here) stood between the bed and the living area, and the sleeping area was further partitioned by the soup can dresser near the foot of the bed, which had this window pane hanging above it. By shutting off all the lights except for the two adjustable desk lamps on either side of the bed, Holden was able to capture these two images. We love the voyeuristic appeal of them, suggesting a naughty peek through a neighbor’s window at just the perfect moment. Or perhaps a show being performed at an agreed-upon time? ~C

The top photo is absolutely stunning! It conveys and elicits genuine feelings of excitement and anticipation of the subject and on the part of the viewer. It creates a story in the mind that is just so hot and makes me want to linger a little longer in the space. Outstanding!
