Summer Shopping

Unlike a lot of women I know, I don’t feel the urge for “retail therapy” very often. I prefer to avoid the crowds and hustle by ordering online, whenever possible, or by making a quick visit to one of my favorite specialty shops. Mother’s Day Sunday was an exception, however, and Holden graciously agreed to go to the mall with me. When I found a store with ridiculously discounted clearance swimwear, I dove right in, so to speak. The tops and bottoms were unmatched on their hangers, which complicated the search, but my eager assistant was a huge help. You don’t think his enthusiasm had anything to do with the prospect of taking photos of me in my new suit(s), do you? ~C

Right! I’d have invited him into the changing room with me, had there not been such a crowd in the store. 😉 ~C

Very kind of you! It is certainly flattering, and I will admit to sporting a long-lasting smile in the changing room mirror. 😉 ~C
